I’m Leaving On A Jet Plane

Don’t know when I’ll be back again.

Okay, so not really.  Well, I am going on a plane for a trip but I’ll be back Sunday.  I’m sorry I have been so scarce lately with my posts and all but it is summer and I haven’t really been home much.  Ya know that whole self-proclaimed beach bum that I’ve told you all many times that I am.

Anyways, back to my original thought.  Tomorrow morning I’ll be jet setting to New Orleans!   Again!  I know you’re like, “but you just went there over New Years.”  Well, this time I am going for Bloggers on Bourbon.  I wrote a post about it a couple months ago.  Its the social media meet-up being put on by Momdot and Bookieboo. 

I am super duper (yes I just said that) excited!  I am so excited to meet a whole bunch of bloggers who I haven’t met yet and meet up with old friends.  I can’t wait for Beignets either.  YUMMM!   I also, and I know this is gonna sound weird, but i love flying. 

Now let me explain.  Before last year, I hadn’t flown in like 7 years.  I flew a bunch of times last year and the first couple I was petrified.  But then, I dunno, something happened and now I just really enjoy it.  It relaxes me.  I actually enjoy taking off because its like a fun roller coaster and then sailing through the air really puts me to sleep.

I’ve said this before, New Orleans is my favorite city that I have ever visited so far.  I can’t wait to eat the food…. ohmigod they have the best food.  We are doing a ghost tour on friday and that is going to be a blast.  And saturday we are taking a plantation tour!  This trip is going to be packed with so much fun, food, and good times I really can’t wait.  

So, I’ll be back next week and hopefully back to blogging on a more regular schedule.  Try not to miss me too much this weekend!  Oh and I will most likely be tweeting from the event live, so make sure your following me on twitter to find out the latest happenings!  We’ll be using the #BOBNOLA hashtag!
