Over Memorial Day weekend Hunter and I both ate our first raw oysters. So, yes it was a memorable Memorial Day indeed.
My thoughts: Not as slimy and gross as I thought they were. They tasted a lot like the horseradish and cocktail sauce I drowned them in.
And yes, Hunter thinks he is a rockstar.

Oh you are so brave! I can’t even watch the oyster episode Man vs. Food because he eats like 60 of them! I am too scared, LOL.
My husband loves raw oysters and I can’t stand the smell of them. Good for you for having the guts to try them. I haven’t made it that far!

Yum! We love oysters and have oyster stew every Christmas. They are really great grilled too!
