VeggieTales Pistachio- Review and Giveaway

*CLOSED*

Hunter loves VeggieTales so when I was given the opportunity to review their newest DVD VeggieTales Pistachio- The Little Boy That Woodn’t, I jumped on it.  I can’t even tell you how excited Hunter was when I told him it was coming and the day it came he immediately wanted to watch it.  We have since watched it over and over and I can’t get the songs out of my head.  But that’s fine because the songs are cute.

Hunter (not surprisingly) loved it.  I likes it (and so will most parents)  because the lesson in this movie is family and listening to your parents.  It also came into our house at a perfect time where Hunter and his father are building their relationship and thats what this movie emphasizes.

About The Movie:

It’s a parody of Pinocchio but with a VeggieTales twist of course.  It follows the tradition of VeggieTales’ unique retellings of classic adventrues like Lord of the Beans, Wizard of Ha’s and Minnesota Cuke.

Synopsis:

Once upon a time, a lonely toymaker named Gelato decided to carve a little boy out of wood.  Imagine his surprise when he learned this little toy boy could walk…and talk…and definitely had a mind of his own!  When Pistachio tries to do things his way, he lands in a “whale” of a situation!  Will he decide to listne to the wisdom of a loving father in time to save his whole family from becoming fish food?  Find out in this all-new adventure with a lesson about the importance of family and learning to listen.
