What the Psychic Said

I’ve never been to a psychic before, so while in New Orleans it was definitely on my list of things to do.  But not just any on the street psychic because there were plenty of those.  I wanted one that was more legit.  Trisha and Alicia had gone during the first day (while I was stuck at the airport in Washington, D.C. for 6 hours) at Marie Laveau’s House of Voodoo.  How much more legit can you get than a house of voodoo??

So I dragged Alicia in with me and here are some of the things he said:

1. I’ll be married in 5 years.  We’ll date for 3 then get married in 5 BUT I’ll never get divorced once I’m married. okay, so i really hope he’s wrong about the first part.  If i get married in 5 years that puts me at 33 and i really want to be married before then.
2. He told me I’ll wear the pants in my relationship. Hehehe!
3. I’ll have 3 kids- boy, girl, boy. That’s fine with me, one down two to go.  However he never mentioned even knowing that i already had a son.
4. Told me that I shouldn’t get a breast reduction.  It wouldn’t help me. Well, considering I got breast implants I wouldn’t think of getting a reduction.  So I’m thinking he probably got his signals a little crossed on this one.
5. He knew that my thoughts go a mile a minute and I talk fast to get them all out otherwise their gone. Now, if you watch my MomTV show, then you know this one is totally true!!
6. He also knew that I don’t date Dr’s. He said I would end up with a lawyer or someone in law. I almost crapped my pants when he said this.  I looked at Alicia because we had just been talking about how i don’t date Dr’s.  Since my whole family is in law enforcement, its a high probability that I’ll end up with someone on the job.
7. He knew details about my relationship with my biological father that NO ONE in the blogosphere knows.  And only a couple real life friends know.  Again I almost crapped my pants when he was talking about it.  But he also confirmed exactly what I had been thinking anyways.
8. He knew I lived in a condo and told me I wouldn’t be moving any time soon. Phooey! I want a backyard dammit!
9. He asked if I did Wii Fit. Which I don’t but I do Wii Active which is basically the same!
10. He was right about my personality.  He said I don’t like drama and so I try my best to stay away from it.  He knew I’m impatient.  He also said that everything with me is either black or white.  There is no grey area.

Okay, that’s all i can remember right now, lol.  If i remember more or if i talk to Alicia and she remembers then I’ll add it but that’s it for now.

He was pretty spot on about my personality but there were some things that he said that were off like, he never said anything about Hunter and he thought i was an only child.  But the things he did know, totally freaked me out.  I definitely believe in stuff like this and it was really interesting to hear the things that he came up with.  I think the things that he was wrong or off about he probably got his signals mixed.  For instance the whole breast reduction thing…he probably knew there was something going on with the boob area but got the increase mixed with the reduction.  Anyways, it was a fun and interesting experience and I’m looking forward to seeing if his predictions come true.
