Just in time for the holidays I have been introduced to this great company, TommyWants. TommyWants has a line of children’s apparel that consists of Sofshell polo’s and belts. The main difference between TommyWants polos and other brands is the fit. The fit is slimmer and they are designed to provide a more fitted look. TommyWants is coastal-inspired and its apparent by the their crab logo which is embroidered in the left corner of the polo. Instead of differentiating using boys and girls, they so cleverly came up with “he-crabs” and “she-crabs”. Since this company is newly launched, the Sofshell polos and belts were the first to be introduced but within the coming weeks they will be introducing onesies and tees screen printed with water-based inks.
Now, being born and raised on the East Coast and always living less than a ten minute drive to the beach, coastal and nautical inspired products are a love of mine. We received a “He-crab” white sofshell polo and immediately Hunter loved the blue crab logo. You see, Hunter goes out lobstering with my grandfather in the summer, and any crabs that they catch Hunter goes around the neighborhood and sells. No lie. Its crazy, i know. We also got the blue crab logo temporary tattoos sent with our shirt….and of course, that was a huge hit. I love the bright colors in the shirts and the belts. The whole line just makes me think of summer and boating.
