I’m probably one of the very few people who still gets excited about their birthday. I’m not really even sure why. It’s not like I do much for my birthday. But the entire week leading up to it, I’m so giddy. I know I’m a dork. Whatever.
Today I turn 28. Geez, I can’t believe I’m 28. I’m now in my late 20′s, Yikes! It doesn’t bother me one bit. Actually the only age that did bother me so far was turning 26. I guess I felt like i was over the hump of my 20′s. I dunno. I know I am that much closer to 30 and believe it or not….I find 30 to be exciting. I certainly don’t look or feel 28. I’m not sure what it should feel like, but when I think of 28 year olds….I don’t fit.
So, I don’t have anything spectacular happening today. I did get breakfast in bed….from the best little 8 yr old Mama’s boy. I will be going out tonight with the Hunk. We’re gonna do whatever I want…and honestly, this is such a mom’s way of thinking…I just wanna do dinner and a movie.
Oh and somebody better get me a damn cake!! LOL.

I still get excited about my birthday as well. Although I don’t like celebrating my birthday as much as I like celebrating other’s. (Especially my children’s birthdays.) Happy birthday to you. I will be 26 soon and I am excited for my 30s as well.
Happy belated birthday! 28 was a great year for me! Sorry about the Red Sox, all those games were disappointing. We’re still bummed out about it over here.
