That’s Ingenious Challenge!!

Ok, so remember when a couple weeks ago I was invited to attend an iRobot summit and I wouldn’t tell you what it was about?? Well now I can.

For three weeks I am part of a team of bloggers participating in an Ingenious Challenge. The winner of the challenge gets to donate $10,000 towards a teachers charity, Donors Choose. I can’t even express to you how excited I am to be a part of this. So, we all have the chance as a community to be part of this together.

I need all you fabulous and ingenious women to put your thinking caps on. We need to come up with the best idea. We are not looking for a robot invention. Think much more practical. I’m looking for ideas to simplify our lives. All ideas will be submitted on my page on the microsite but will be credited with your name.

Here’s where you benefit. If someone from here’s idea is chosen as the winning idea, you will receive an iRobot product of your choice!! Feel free to leave your ideas in the comments or you can email them to me @ missblondie919 @ gmail.com.

Here’s my first challenge:

I want you to break up your day…morning, afternoon, and night. Find a task that you would like to make simple and easy. How might we simplify our lives so that we can get more joy for less work? For this first challenge lets start with the morning tasks. Think about your daily morning routine….what do you wish could be done quicker and easier??

at night, i find that when i pick up the house I am happier in the morning w/ no chores.

In the morning, its best for me to plan out my day so i dont get behind.

I do my busy work in the afternoon.

I wish there was an easier way to get my child moving for school. It doesn't seem to matter if we lay out his clothes and pack his lunch and back pack the night before, we still seem to rush out the door when it's bus time.

I love to have at least an hour of quiet time in the morning just to relax. I am happy when I wake up and there is nothing that HAS to be done right then.

This is my invention On-Task On-Time for Kids. It turned my kids' routines into a game and got them to independently get ready for school. Take a look at http://www.timelymatters.com. Not only did it eliminate the nagging and stress, it made my kids feel good about themselves!
